Spring 2025

"Reading With You", Multiple partnership events in 76104,76105, and 76112 to provide food, clothing and access to services, we did it! Students at AM Pate were also treated to the 5th Annual Sharon Pate Texas Rangers Baseball Game which is the reward for 5th grade graduation. Not so quick though, students learned about baseball utilizing math and reading! These were educated fans!

Get ready for an exciting lineup! We're thrilled to announce the First Annual Winter Reading Contest "Reading with You"! In response to a tragic incident, we're also presenting essential Gun Safety Programming. Plus, join us for impactful Opiate Education and raise awareness about Human and Labor Trafficking. Don't miss the murals created by the talented Ms. Blue from EHHS Art Faculty, showcased at EHHS and Oakland Lake Park, and featured on Fox 4 News!

We’re thrilled to announce our exciting partnerships with incredible organizations like One Safe Place, UnBound Now, The Shaken Baby Alliance, Cook Children's, Journey4ward, Love4Locals, Hope-4-Kids, NBC5, Jim Austin Online, Visit FW, National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum, The Pate Foundation, Seasons of Change, and Texas A&M Agrilife! Together, we’ve launched 3 amazing literacy contests and 6 dynamic programs focused on safety, STEM, self-regulation and so much more for parents and students. Fall 2024

We celebrated Juneteenth with Opal Lee and Unity Unlimited. Fort Worth SPARC secured Journeys of the Heart to supply 40,000 meals to The City of Fort Worth Summer camp at a cost of nearly $100,000.

March 2024

AM Pate students Career Day EXTRAVAGANZA!  Students at AM Pate will learn from the experts at The Spay/Neuter Network.  Topics are:  Student safety near animals, animal health and spay/neuter.  This is in partnership with The Spay/Neuter Network and FW SPARC. ​ Age 17 and under are encouraged to join the City of Fort Worth Community Centers!  Membership is FREE!  ​ ALL IN EAST Fort Worth at SS Dillow Elementary this morning!  The novel non-profit ALL KIDS BIKE with a grant from HDR provided a permanent set of Strider Balance bikes (wobble pedal free bikes) which are adaptable to pedals as students progress in their riding.  This class set of 24 bikes will remain at SS Dillow forever!

Partner Holiday Gifting at AM Pate Elementary.  Every student received 3 toys, an invitation to a bike raffle and 100% attendance students received Samsung Level Headphones and a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Annual HOLIDAY Bike, Clothing, Toy and Food Delivery at God's House sponsored by LOVE4LOCALS and FW SPARC

June, July, & August 2023

CAMP SPARC was once again -- FIRE at William James Middle School on Saturday, 10 September 2022. 120 students enrolled, yet nearly 200 attended!  In 76105, our community awards a "GOLD SEAL" and then the text. social media, curbside, community center, carpool line promotion of a FABULOUS program to neighbors, family and friends begins!  The attendance indicates SPARC and William James Middle School have built relationships and trust in the community!  #communitypride CHECK IT OUT! Sizzling solar, lava lamps, and dizzying drones… oh my! We had almost 200 kids learn about density, solar energy and flight paths at @WJamesFWISD student and faculty led, CAMP SPARC. These are community  supported learning experiences that matter and build a better tomorrow. #bethebear​

Partnering with Love4Locals, The City of Fort Worth, Seasons of Change, Barbara Cares, Medical City FW, UTA, Texas Wesleyan and many more, we delivered amenities and opportunities to the attendees of summer learning camps in 76105.

March 2022

The City of Fort Worth Park and Recreation Department's Sycamore Park was the site of "CAMP SPARC in SYCAMORE PARK".  Close to 200 students ages 5 -15 attended a program which included: sports (soccer, basketball, cheer, art, reading, STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Math) and gardening. Real discussion, delivered by experts in an age appropriate manner were led to inform student safety in:  gun violence, dog and cat care and avoidance of aggressive animnals, safe infant care,

The City of Fort Worth and FWISD passed the first resolutions on youth e cigarette use in the USA with support from:  SPARC, American Heart Association, State Rep Nicole Collier, Dr. Kathleen Powderly, Dr. Tracey Barnett and The BLUE ZONES.  We delivered a featured speaker to: Healthcare Professionals, students at multiple sites and parents.  Dr. Peter Stout of The Houston Forensic Science Center spent two days delivering the facts on vaping to our Tarrant County Community.  He was joined by our very own District 95 State Rep and Attorney Nicole Collier.

Out-of-school-time (OST) programs include before-school, after-school, summer, weekend and holiday programs, which are known to promote academic improvement, social development and mental health.
